Pages 24-25

The story of the Grizzlies Waling Upright seemed kind of weird to me, but as read on I began to like it more and more. My idea of the Sky chief is a symbol of God. The way he came down from the sky and began to touch here and there. Where ever his finger touched a tree grew. This is just oneexample of the many ways in which this Sky cheif like a symbol of God. When him and his family came to live down here on the Earth its as if he is enjoying what he created. But not like a king who would just control everything just like a person who built their own home just wants to appreciate the hard work they have done. When his daughter fell from the mountain and the Grizzlies took care of her and raised her as she was one of their own. When she is a young woman she marries one of the grizzlybears. Which to me seems very awkward because she is a human and he is a beas. But i guess you have to look at it in a different way to understand it. I thought it was very cute how they created new creatures and a pretty big deal , I mean they created a new kind of speicies! I didn't understand why they had to go to the Sky chief at all in the first place. They were happy and doing great so why would they want to ruin that. But over all i like this story because it was very interesting.
